At the inauguration of her exhibition in Es Castell last Wednesday, artist Liz Spooner donated one of her works to the Town Council.

The exhibition, entitled "Colour and Fiestas", is on view between 1900 hrs. and 2100 hrs. at the Sala Multifuncional in Es Castell's Explanada, until the end of the month, excluding the main days of the fiesta, 24th and 25th July.

The artist, who has had several exhibitions in Menorca, the most recent being held in Alaior Town Hall, opened a gallery in Es Castell in 2005 - El Pino Cellars which is above Calesfonts and where a selection of her work is on permanent display, together with that of other artists.
