The State Government's Island Director, Javier Tejero, confirmed last week that a fourth sexual assault had been reported in Maó. The incident apparently took place the previous week at the entrance to the victim's home in a street in the town centre.
Tejero stated that police were comparing details of the last two cases, but that these were not necessarily linked to the first two "which we are certain are genuine".
Last month it was confirmed that police were investigating two sexual assaults, one in Maó and the other in Es Castell, plus an alleged rape in Es Castell.
Police arrest six people for trafficking cocaine

Six people have been arrested, four of whom are from Ecuador, one from the Dominican Republic and one from Morocco. Five remain in custody whilst the sixth has been released on bail.
